Disney announces DGamer community on Nintendo DS

Entertainment industry giant Disney has announced the launch of their DGamer community on the Nintendo DS console.

This announcement comes with the Nintendo DS version of The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian.

Disney said that DGamer is the first online community aimed at just Disney game fans. Gamers would be able to interact with each other through Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection and the DGamer Web site.

The service enables the user to create a 3-D avatar and a profile on the network. The company is also inviting parents to participate in this venture to keep the community safe for kids.
