Sony PlayStation Portable to get Google support

Sony has said that they are going to add support for Google services in their PlayStation Portable gaming console.

An upcoming firmware upgrade for the PlayStation Portable console would add the Google Internet search experience on this gaming platform.

Google would be featured on the PlayStation Portable’s Cross Media Bar (XMB) menu.

The company said: “This new upgrade replicates the Google Internet search experience, delivering the same search results that you’d get at www.google.com. And with a search history recall of 20 items, Web searches couldn’t be easier.”

Sony keeps on updating the software on the PSP gaming console to bring new features and enhance existing ones.
