Rockstar Games issues Hot Coffee patch
Rockstar Games, the maker of one of the most successful game of current times, Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas have finally issued a patch, which is supposed to disable access to hidden content, which led to big controversies. In fact, the game’s rating was raised to an awful ‘Adults Only’ by the US Entertainment Software Rating Board (ESRB) after they discovered the news about hidden sexual content was correct.
That discovery also led to many big retailers removing the game from their shelves resulting in big losses for the company. Australia In fact totally banned the game from being sold from their gaming and retail stores. Rockstar Games could only say this in their official statement on the software mod, which unlocked the hidden sexual content: “The Hot Coffee scenes were not intended to be part of the Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas experience.”
This latest patch released by the company now enables the users to make their version of the copy of the game safe from the implementation of the Hot Coffee mod, which enables the hidden content. The company said: “If your copy of Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas for the PC has been altered by the unauthorized Hot Coffee download circulating on the internet, or you wish to prevent your version from being so altered, download and install the patch for your version of the game.”
However, the problem remains about the millions of unaltered copies sold and being sold at this moment, which does not come with the patch and still contains the same hidden adult content just waiting to be unlocked by the Hot Coffee mod…
