Microsoft Xbox 360 is one of the most talked about upcoming gadget in the tech world. And to know more about it, people were waiting for the Microsoft X05 event, which has been in rumors since quite sometime. Now, the news is confirmed that the event is scheduled to take place in Amsterdam during the early days of the month of October.

The company has confirmed that they would be inviting industry leaders and journalists to Amsterdam during the event scheduled to take place on October 4 and 5th. They would be detailing their own vision for the upcoming Microsoft Xbox 360 gaming console, which would be taken on by the Sony PlayStation 3 sometime next year. Microsoft would have the advantage of coming out first in the market with the launch scheduled to take place later this year.

The company would also give a chance to the reporters to play the first versions of the games for the Xbox 360 gaming console during the event. In addition, experts believe they would also talk about the launch date and/or price for the console. However, they might release some of these details before the date of the event arrives looking at the little gap between the show and the holiday season in the United States.

X0 events have previously taken place at Pierre Cardin’s Bubble House in Cannes, La Isla Magica theme park in Seville and a beach club in Juan-les-Pins.
