Sony: We are on target to sell 10 million PS3 this fiscal year
Sony might still be struggling to sell as many gaming consoles as Microsoft and Nintendo are selling, but they are optimistic about their performance.
The company said in a statement that they are still on track to sell 10 million Playstation 3 gaming console units worldwide this fiscal year.
Sony Computer Entertainment America President Jack Tretton added that they are also on track to achieve the aim to sell 15 million units of Playstation Portable in this fiscal year.
Sony Playstation 3 competes with Microsoft Xbox 360 and Nintendo Wii.
Sony Playstation Portable competes with Nintendo DS.
Microsoft has no portable gaming device yet.
