EA extends offer for Take-Two till August 18
Video game giant EA has announced that they are again extending their acquisition offer for Take-Two.
Their offer now stands till 18 August. The company said that this new deadline would allow Federal Trade Commission review process to continue.
EA has till now extended their offer for the makers of GTA series six times for a variety of reasons.
Take Two has rejected the deal every time saying that the deal undervalues the worth of the company.
Strauss Zelnick, chairman of Take-Two spoke about the latest developments: “We are fully engaged in a formal process to evaluate strategic alternatives that have the potential to deliver greater value than EA’s inadequate offer.”
