Cryptic Studios to launch a MMO based on Star Trek
Videogame Company Cryptic Studios has announced that they have won the rights to develop a massively multiplayer game based on Star Trek.
The company also posted some screenshots of this game that would come out in the future.
They are behind the successful City of Heroes game.
Cryptic Studios acquired the rights from CBS Consumer Products. No financial details of this deal were revealed.
A company statement stated that the game would feature everything from the elegant domes of Starfleet Academy to the ancient temples of Vulcan.
