Activision to drop some games from Vivendi

Videogame developers Activision has announced that they are now dropping some gaming titles they gained from Vivendi.

They are only retaining the games which they say are a “strong fit with its long-term strategy”.

The company confirmed that they would be retaining titles including Crash Bandicoot, Spyro The Dragon and Ice Age.

The games which reportedly have been dropped are: Ghostbusters: The Video Game, Brütal Legend, WET, 50 Cent: Blood on the Sand, Chronicles of Riddick: Assault on Dark Athena and World in Conflict: Soviet Assault.

Activision added in a statement: “Activision will not publish other titles that were part of Vivendi Games’ portfolio, and it is currently reviewing its options regarding these games.”
