Gran Turismo 5 to arrive in 2007
Gran Turismo is one of the hottest racing games for consoles today. The game has sold more than 44 million units around the world. The next version of the game Gran Turismo 5 is expected to be one of the prime attractions for the Sony’s next generation gaming console Sony Playstation 3 expected to be launched next year. The latest reports in claim that the next version of the game should be out in the market sometime in 2007.
The reports also claims that the game would feature 100 times more detailed elements than the current version giving us some proofs of the ability of the PS3 gaming machine. It quotes Polyphony Digital boss Kazunori Yamauchi for these news reports. Yamauchi is said to be the main face behind the development of the Gran Turismo series and he was talking to the Croatian car magazine Auto Klub when he gave out these details.
Market analysts believe that the Sony would be promoting the game as a killer application for the Playstation 3. The company has also conveyed that several PS3 titles may be shown off in some form at TGS this September. 100 times more details is something really worth looking forward too. Sony PlayStation 3 should be a treat for the fans of the gaming icon.
