Nintendo posts 34 Percent increase in profits

Nintendo is perhaps the only videogame console maker which continues to make good money on their consoles.

The company has posted a 34 Percent increase in profits in the recent quarter. Nintendo posted a 107.27 billion yen profit for the first fiscal quarter spanning April-June.

This is an impressive improvement from profits of 80.25 billion yen profit in the same period last year.

The company continues to make big money from both of their current generation consoles: Nintendo Wii and Nintendo DS.

Both are best sellers in their segments of the market.
