Microsoft to reveal more on Xbox 360 before Tokyo Game Show

Microsoft has still things to reveal about their upcoming gaming console Microsoft Xbox 360 expected to be out before the end of the year. The company has now announced that they would be hosting a press conference in the capital city of Japan, Tokyo just ahead of the Tokyo Game Show. This gaming conference is scheduled to go ahead on the September 15. The company plans to further make announcements on the upcoming console.

There is much speculation in the market over the Microsoft’s plan for the Japanese market, which happens to be the home of Sony, Microsoft’s biggest competitor in the gaming console market. They have not yet revealed the date, price and software line-up for the launch. They announced these strategies for USA and Europe earlier this year.

World’s largest software company is now expected to use this press conference to discuss some of these details relevant to the Japanese market. They further plan to make use of their newly formed ties and collaborations with the companies in Japan. The press conference would be then followed by a keynote address at TGS from Microsoft’s chief Xbox officer, Robbie Bach amongst other. Nintendo president Satoru Iwata is also expected to deliver his keynote speech at the event.
