Xbox 360 overtakes Playstation 3 in Japan
Software giant Microsoft managed to accomplish something extraordinary earlier this month.
Their Xbox 360 gaming console managed to outsell Sony Playstation 3 during the week of Aug. 4 to 10.
The figures were released by Media Create. The report said that the Xbox 360 sold 24,962 units in that period.
In comparison, PlayStation 3 sold 9,673 units and Nintendo’s Wii sold 38,506 units.
Microsoft Xbox 360 has been a massive success in the international market except for Japan where it struggles.
The company seems to have gained from the recent launch of “Tales of Vesperia” which is designed to cater to Japanese gamers.
