Scrabulous blocked on a larger scale on Facebook
Facebook continues to put more restrictions on the Scrabulous application on their social network.
The game has now been banned in all nations except for India.
This is as a result of a complaint filed with the company by Mattel, which owns the rights to Scrabble outside North America.
The game was earlier blocked from the North American market after the developers were sued by Hasbro, which owns rights to Scrabble in the U.S. and Canada,
Developers of Scrabulous, Rajat and Jayant Agarwalla of Calcutta recently made available a similar game to Scrabble with the name of Wordscraper. This game continues to become more popular on the Facebook network.
