Tetris clone Tris latest to disappear from Apple App Store

Apple continues to remove more applications from the Apple App Store which provides third party applications for their Apple iPhone and iPod Touch.

Tris is a free game which is basically a clone of the hugely popular Tetris.

The developer has been forced by Apple and The Tetris Company to remove this game from the App Store due to copyrighted violations.

Users are being advised to go for the game EA has made available. But it retails for USD 9.99.

Tris developer Noah Witherspoon wrote in a blog post about his decision to remove the game from App Store: “The trouble is, I’m a college student, and not an affluent one and I simply do not have the time, energy, or resources to fight this battle right now. There’s a point at which I am willing to give up and be practical, to let the world have its way with that ever-mistreated little ideal of ‘principle’.”
