Sony launches Life with Playstation
Japanese videogame console maker Sony has finally launched their Life with Playstation service.
The service is designed to deliver a variety of visual and interactive news and information to the Sony Playstation 3 gaming console.
The service features a lifestyle service called Live Channel which has various components like collection of news and information centered on two themes, “place” and “time” placed on a Globe.
It contains cloud imagery, weather information, news headlines, and camera images.
Google, The Weather Channel, The Earth Television Network, and the University of Wisconsin-Madison Space Science and Engineering Center are some of the content providers for this innovative feature.
The service is available for free to Sony Playstation 3 owners and the company plans to add more features and components to this service in the future.
