Xbox 360 beats PS3 in Japan!
Microsoft has managed to do something unusual. Their Xbox 360 console outsold the Sony Playstation 3 in the Japanese market!
Videogame magazine Enterbrain claims that Microsoft sold 53,547 units of the Xbox 360 compared with 33,071 units of the PS3 in the month ending on September 28.
This is largely due to the recently introduced price cut by Microsoft on the Xbox 360 gaming console.
Xbox 360 has been a massive success in most international markets and USA. However, it has failed to attract many customers in the Japanese market which is home to both Nintendo and Sony.
The recent price cut in Japan has made Xbox 360 much cheaper and affordable compared to the Sony Playstation 3.
