Microsoft to enhance focus on Japanese content for Xbox 360
Microsoft has already managed to achieve something special. Xbox 360 is selling in larger numbers compared to Playstation 3 in this market.
The company is now working on releasing games developed by top Japanese designers for the Xbox 360 gaming console to make it more lucrative to Japanese gamers.
Microsoft representative John Schappert said in a statement on their plans: “My message to you today is that we believe Xbox 360 is the platform best equipped to help Japanese publishers succeed on a global basis.”
He added about Microsoft’s partnership with Japanese videogame developers: “We’re in a great position and we’re very proud of that”.
Microsoft Xbox 360 currently has a variant which is the cheapest of all the current generation videogame consoles.
This has made it a very lucrative purchase considering even Nintendo Wii is expensive!
