Fatal Inertia game to compliment Sony Playstation 3 launch
With Microsoft launching their next generation gaming console Xbox 360 later this year, Sony has some extra hard work to do to entice users to their Sony Playstation 3 console scheduled to come out sometime next year. They would have to bring some phenomenal gaming experiences to the consumer to get them to purchase the PS3 and perhaps even wait for it ignoring the Xbox 360.
The latest news would make Sony fans happy as Koei has announced that their futuristic demolition derby action game Fatal Inertia is scheduled to arrive as a PlayStation 3 launch title. This means that the game and the console could be out together around spring next year.
Koei are developing this high performance game at their Canadian unit and the company says that Fatal Inertia combines street racing, demolition derbies, and rallying: all in a “naturalistic” 23rd Century setting. Gamers would have to rely upon weapons and advanced physics to overcome the various challenges. Fatal Inertia would also offer customizable vehicles, multiple game modes, and online multiplayer combat.
