EA acquires J2MSoft in South Korea
US based videogame publisher EA continues to expand their presence in the Asian market.
The company has now acquired South Korean online game developer J2MSoft.
Jon Niermann, president of EA Asia spoke about this acquisition deal: “This is a significant step in EA’s strategic plan for developing and publishing online games in Asia.”
J2MSoft is behind games like RayCity, Taan and Debut.
They would now work on their own titles in addition to developing products for the EA brand.
The two companies did not reveal the financial aspects of this acquisition deal.
