543,000 units of Nintendo DSi sold in Japan already
Nintendo has already sold more than 500,000 units of their updated DSi handheld gaming console since its launch in the Japanese market.
This was revealed in a report published by Ascii Media Works.
This is comparable to the sales of the original DS and the second edition DS Lite.
Nintendo DS had sold 1.327 million units in the first five weeks.
Nintendo DS Lite sold 547,000 DS units in the same period.
The recently launched DSi edition is slimmer than previous versions and has a slightly larger screen.
