id Software confirms QuakeCon 2009
Videogame company id Software has now confirmed QuakeCon 2009.
This event would be hosted in USA featuring a large LAN party centered around the Quake.
This tournament would see Quake Live which is the latest version of the game in this hugely popular series.
The game is browser based and would be free to play. It has been in beta testing since a long time.
The company said that the event would take place between August 13th and 16th 2009, in Dallas, Texas at the Hilton Anatole Hotel.
