Microsoft said to be using Sony PlayStation Home for virtual meetings!
Financial web service GAAPweb has reported that several companies including Microsoft are using Sony’s recently launched PlayStation Home service for online meetings.
This is surprising considering Microsoft is the world’s largest software company with its own solutions for virtual meetings.
They are also the maker of the PS3 rival console Xbox 360.
Advanced Workplace Associates managing director Andrew Mawson added in a statement: “Audio and video-conferencing solutions have emerged, but the use of virtual worlds may offer the next evolution in overcoming the tyranny of distance – a more realistic and learning-enhanced environment.”
These companies are trying out this new technology as part of a project which is commissioned by Advanced Workplace Associates.

made its way onto a blog, now it’s news!!
Considering the privacy issues and the eaves
dropping potential. Not a chance.
