Ubisoft acquires Action Pants
France based videogame company Ubisoft has announced that they are now acquiring Canadian company Action Pants.
This deal would help the company establish a presence in the Western Canadian market.
A company representative spoke about this acquisition deal: “We have been looking closely at Vancouver for some time, as we wished to set up a presence in what is one of the industry’s biggest talent pools. We are delighted to both establish ourselves in the region as well as welcome a fantastic group of experienced developers who can start exchanging with our other teams worldwide.”
The two companies did not reveal the financial aspects of the acquisition deal.
Ubisoft seems to be on an acquisition spree in these tough times. They had acquired Southlogic Studios last month.
