Reports in media talk about Intel powered PlayStation 4

Sony might have not uttered a word on the possibility of a PlayStation 4 but market rumors are already out.

Sources say that Sony has decided to ditch the Nvidia graphics system which are using on the current generation Playstation 3 gaming console.

Reports say that the company is instead planning to use Intel’s Larrabee graphics chip in its upcoming PlayStation 4.

Intel has declined to comment on these rumors. Sony too have said that the reports in the media are fictional.

None of the three game console makers have hinted about when they are going to launch the next generation consoles.

Perhaps, it is too early to talk about them.

Larrabee is a GPU so if the rumor is true it will replace nvidia rsx, not cell CPU
