Microsoft has moms and wives in mind for Xbox 360

The world might hear the fact that Xbox 360 might be the most powerful gaming machine to be made available in retail stores ever, but the company has bigger audience in minds than just the higher end gamers. The company claims that the gaming machine is not only targeted at the gamers genre but also at wives and moms!

The company wants to prove this point in the coming days as it starts their marketing campaign to expand the appeal of the new Xbox 360 game console beyond the young men who are the Xbox’s biggest fans. With this, they aim to overtake the existing king of the gaming market the Sony Playstation 2 and get ready to take on Sony Playstation 3. Microsoft is going to launch their Xbox 360 on November 22 while Sony would be launching PS 3 sometime next year.

The original Xbox was targeted at the hard-core gamers, which are usually between the age group of 17 to 24 years. It brought more sophisticated graphics and more complex game functions than other consoles to these gamers. Halo was a massive success and contributed to the popularity of this console. Sony and Nintendo have a more diverse market with their consumer base.

Microsoft has bigger aims now with their Xbox 360.

Your headline has nothing to do with wives or moms. It seems that you forgot to include what you claim the article is about.
