Microsoft says Xbox 360 would be worth the price
The makers of the Xbox gaming machine Microsoft have claimed that the gamers need not be disappointed by the high price of their upcoming Xbox 360 gaming console. The console is scheduled to be shipped to retail markets in around a month’s time and the company is working hard on making sure that the consumer interest remains and they move to the stores to buy it as soon as it is made available.
The company also wants to move beyond its core business of developing windows operating system, the ms office suite considering the market is growing pretty slow, and the alternates are emerging and evolving. Gaming is a growing market and with Sony being the current market leader, Microsoft has a challenge to overcome.
At events in New York and San Francisco last week, Microsoft tried to answer some of the questions revolving in the minds of people around. Would Xbox 360 be good enough for the rather steep price tag Microsoft has put on it? The company claims that it is and there is no reason to be worried about it. They also let journalists, analysts and a few gaming enthusiasts spend the day playing some of the initial Xbox 360 titles.
We would know more in the next couple of months whether Xbox 360 is worth the hype. Or is it better to wait for the Sony Playstation 3.
