Nintendo Wii MotionPlus lacks backward compatibility
Nintendo is set to launch their latest Wii accessory Wii MotionPlus which is designed to improve the precision of the Wiimote.
The company has now revealed that this accessory would not be compatible with the existing games in the market.
Developers would be required to add support for this accessory in their games to enable the users to make use of it.
Nintendo is also scheduled to launch a new game Wii Sports Resort for the Wii which would support this new accessory.
Looks like Nintendo is mimicking Sony when it comes to backward compatibility. Even on the same generation gaming console!
