The Sims 3 launch is massively successful for EA
EA has announced that their recently launched gaming title The Sims 3 has been hugely successful.
The company managed to sell 1.4 million copies in the first week itself. The game is available on the PC platform.
EA said that The Sims 3 had the best launch in its history for the PC gaming platform.
The Sims 3 was launched earlier this month on June 2.
The Sims itself has been a massively successful franchise for the videogame company. It is considered to be the best selling game of all times. More than 100 million units have been sold worldwide.
The game is also a bestseller on the Apple App Store. It is on sale for the iPhone for USD 10.
