Microsoft Natal technology could become standard Xbox 360 feature

Market sources are claiming that Microsoft would launch their Project Natal technology as an accessory for the Xbox 360 sometime next year.

The company could also launch a new updated version of the Xbox 360 that might include the Natal technology.

This could potentially be the next generation gaming console from the software giant.

It is unlikely however that this new rumoured variant would differ much hardware wise compared to the original Xbox 360 as Microsoft would not want to alienate the millions of owners.

Microsoft could instead repackage the Xbox 360 + Natal technology into a more compact offering.

The company has already hinted that the launch of the Natal technology would be as big as the launch of a new gaming console.
