John Schappert leaves Microsoft for EA
EA has announced the appointment of John Schappert as their new chief operating officer.
He is leaving Microsoft to join EA where he has worked before.
In fact he had started working at EA as a software engineer way back in the year 1991.
He had left EA for Microsoft in 2007. He looked after the company’s properties like Microsoft Game Studios and games including Halo and Gears of War.
He is also one of the individuals behind Microsoft’s New Xbox Live Experience.
EA further said that they current COO John Pleasants is leaving the company to become CEO at social gaming company Playdom.
