StarCraft II would not feature LAN game play
Blizzard has announced that they are removing LAN game play support from their upcoming videogame title StarCraft II.
StarCraft II is a real time strategy game designed for the Windows platform.
The company said that they decided to remove the LAN support from this game to combat piracy.
Critics of the company believe that the step was taken to force the games subscribe to their Battle.net service.
Blizzard added that it was a tough decision for them to move away from LAN game play and “directing players to our upgraded Battle.net service was the best option to ensure a quality multiplayer experience with StarCraft II and safeguard against piracy.”
This has already resulted in a lot of disappointment from the gamers.

I think this is not a good strategy to sell the game! Probably a lot of players will be disappointed by this decision and will not buy the game.
