Howard Stringer: Playstation 3 Price Cut Unlikely
Sony CEO Howard Stringer has once again hinted that there are no price cuts planned for their Playstation 3 gaming console.
He said in a statement that the company would lose money on the console if they cut the price.
He was referring to the recent statement by Robert Kotick, the CEO of video game publisher Activision Blizzard.
Kotick has famously said that they might consider discarding the PS3 platform in the coming years if the prices of the console are not dropped.
Sony PS3 continues to remain the most expensive console on sale in the market.
