Ubisoft launches their gaming platform on Facebook

Ubisoft is now looking to conquer Facebook as the next gaming platform.

The company already makes popular videogame titles for videogame consoles and PCs.

Ubisoft representative Laurent Detoc said in a statement: “We are going to try to make the best game applications for Facebook just like we try to make the best applications for Xbox360 and Wii and PlayStation.”

One of the first games released on the network is named TickTock. This game is designed to enable a user to test his knowledge about his friends.

Facebook platform manager Gareth Davis spoke about the launch of this new gaming platform by Ubisoft: “We are very excited about what Ubisoft is doing here. Ubisoft is using the social graph people share every day on Facebook to make a fun game uniquely tailored for Facebook users.”
