Starcraft 2 to feature DRM. Would require a Battle.net account.
Blizzard has been one of the few popular videogame developers who have avoided implementing DRM to prevent piracy.
The company instead focuses on preventing games with pirated versions to connect to their online servers.
They are now going to change that stance and are now likely to include a form of DRM in their upcoming games.
Starcraft 2 is likely to be the first game to feature DRM locking mechanism by Blizzard.
Any gamer who is trying to install this game would be required to connect to their servers once.
The game would also be required to have an account on Battle.net service.
