Sony Playstation 3 for just USD 299 in USA now
Sony has just showcased their upcoming slimmer edition of the Playstation 3 which would become the only version available in the market.
The company also had more good news for their fans.
Sony Playstation 3 is now cheaper by around USD 100 in the US market. It would now retail for USD 299.
This puts it closer to the price tag of the Nintendo Wii gaming console which still sells for USD 250 in the US market.
Nintendo has not reduced the price of their Wii gaming console since it was launched.

160 GB PlayStation 3 USD 399
80 GB Playstation 3 USD 299
The new version of the Sony Playstation 3 would ship with a 120GB hard disk drive and would sell for USD 299. So, if you can wait for a couple of days, wait for the slim edition!
