ATI Radeon HD 5800 series launched in India

AMD has launched their latest range of graphic cards in the Indian market.

The company has introduced ATI Radeon HD 5800 series in India.

AMD said that these new generation graphic cards are capable of delivering up to 2.72 TeraFLOPS of computing power.

ATI Radeon HD 5870 and ATI Radeon HD 5850 are now on sale in the Indian market. Both of these feature 1GB GDDR5 memory.

AMD’S Global Business Development (Professional Graphics), Director, Anirban Chakravartti spoke about these new cards: “Many applications are already designed to take advantage of the massive parallel processing capabilities of the GPU. To help this phenomenon, ATI Radeon HD 5800 is changing the game, both for the ‘gamer’ and the ‘worker’ in us.”
