Microsoft Windows Vista gets DirectX 11
Platform Update for Windows Vista 971644 is going to bring support for DirectX 11 to Windows Vista users.
Windows 7 already comes with DirectX 11 so this is good news for Vista owners with compatible graphic cards.
This update is likely to be available directly from Windows Update on relevant machines.
Windows XP users are as usual out of luck as they are stuck with DirectX 9.
