Sony Playstation 3 is what UK wants
If Microsoft thinks that they have the hottest product to be launched in the market in the form of Xbox 360, they would be disappointed with this survey. The next generation gaming console from the software giant is due to be launched later this month. However, a survey has revealed that people in the United Kingdom have their eyes set for the next Sony’s product, Playstation 3!
The survey was conducted by research firm XTN Data in September. They surveyed a group of around 1000 people and discovered that 32 per cent were planning to buy a PS3, while 27 per cent said they would purchase an Xbox 360. Disappointingly, they did not enquire about the underdog of this way, the Nintendo Revolution that has just started to make news with more details coming out from the company.
XTN Data founder Greig Harper said in a statement about their research: “This comes despite huge efforts by Microsoft to launch in time for the vital Christmas period and before Sony’s 2006 launch.” Microsoft would be launching the Xbox 360 in Europe on December 2. Microsoft can however take the relief from the fact that the sample audience for the survey was pretty small and it was conducted 2 months ago.

i cant believe they exluded revolution. its getting the most hype on the net. It is actually the the ONLY real thing you can look forward to. No the controller is not a gimmick. They called nds a gimmick but when nintendogs came out where was critisism? PS3 and Xbox are the real gimmicks becasue theres nothing specail about them apart from minor graphical upgrades. I am very angry that they did not include nintendo, the creators of the word ‘gaming’the father of gaming. This is shameful. when the revolution comes you will see who they really are about. my money will be on nintendo. One more thing no matter how much critisim nintendo get they will always be there you cannot get rid of them
