Microsoft Xbox 360 to have 18 games available at launch

Software giant Microsoft has confirmed that they would have on offer at least 18 new games optimized for their next generation gaming console Xbox 360 when it is launched later this month. Xbox 360 is due to be made available in retail stores from November 22 and with this confirmed news, games would be pleased to know that they would have some of the latest games to play on their new gizmo.

Some of these games would be “Kameo: Elements of Power” and “Project Gotham Racing 3” and they are expected to be priced at around USD 50. This is similar to the prices of Xbox games. Microsoft has also said that users would also have the option to choose from 13 accessories they would be selling along with the gaming machine.

Some of these accessories are designed to personalize the Xbox 360 gaming console as per the personality of the gamer. Others include wireless controllers and hard drives for the cheaper variant of the Xbox 360. They have already announced the list of current generation Xbox games, which would be playable on the new console. Halo, Halo 2 and around 200 more games would be compatible with the Xbox 360 at the launch date.

Microsoft would be further adding support for old games and providing software upgrades to the Xbox gaming machine, which would be required to be installed on the add-on hard disk. The company has also said that they expect to sell around 3 million Xbox 360 consoles within 90 days of its North American launch.
