Microsoft assures owners of faulty Xbox 360 units
Software giants Microsoft has admitted that they have received complaints from some of the new owners of their recently launched Xbox 360 gaming console about possible defects in the gaming console. The console has been a total sold out with most of the retail stores out of stock practically within hours of the launch.
In fact, some of the early owners of this gaming console managed to make a fortune selling them on eBay at inflated prices to gamers who were not lucky enough to purchase one from the regular stores. However, not everything has gone smooth for the company. European retailers are already claiming that they would be short on supplies for the launch in their market early next month.
And some of the owners of Xbox 360 have complained about problems related to crashes during start-up or game play. Gamers have reported on Xbox related discussion forums about these problems related to games freezing, graphics going distorted, and screen going blank during game play.
Microsoft has assured these gamers that if they face any problems with their consoles, they should head towards the console’s official website and report it. The company has even said that they would pay to ship the console to and from a repair centre, or provide a replacement if the fault could not be repaired. Looks like the software giant wants to play it safe and prevent any bad publicity related to this gaming console which is due to be launched in Europe and Japan next month.
