Xbox 360 to reach Australia by March 2006
Microsoft has just launched their next generation gaming console, Xbox 360 in the United States. However, demand for this gaming console is such that no matter how many units the company supplies, the market has a shortage for it. Most of the retailers ran out of their stocks within hours of the launch and many gamers had to console themselves by purchasing a resold kit from eBay at inflated prices.
The company has ambitious plans to launch the gaming console simultaneously in the world. European launch is just around the corner and Japan would be next. The latest news from the company has now confirmed the launch dates for the Australian market. Microsoft has finally confirmed the pricing and dates for the arrival of its next generation Xbox 360 console in Australia.
Australia would be receiving their share of the Xbox 360 units only by March 2006. The date of the launch has been pegged at second of the month. However, Australian fans might benefit from the experience Microsoft would have gained in these couple of months to maintain a smooth delivery schedule for these gaming console units. The delay should result in a smoother supply of Xbox 360 units and their would be more games available for the consumers to play by then.
