Xbox 360 a complete sell out in Europe as well

Microsoft launched the first of the three next generation gaming consoles Xbox 360 in USA last month. And the beginning of December saw them launching this gaming device in the European market. And as it happened with the launch in the USA, the Xbox 360 has been a complete sell out in the European market as well.

London is one place where the gaming console virtually disappeared from shelves immediately after its much-hyped launch. High street shops were stocked with limited supplies as Microsoft is trying hard to maintain a continues supply in all the targeted markets and that includes North America and Europe now. Japan is going to be the next market to get the Xbox 360 and it is going to be even more difficult for Microsoft to maintain a stable supply.

Microsoft has ensured that the supplies would be replenished by next week. Though most retail stores claim that it would take a couple of weeks before the Xbox 360 would be available with ease in the markets. Even online stores are admitting that they would be unable to fulfill even the pre-orders they have for Christmas this season with limited supplies from the software company.

eBay seems to be the only place gamers can get easy access to an Xbox 360 unit. However, it comes at a very high price. And as expected, the demand is there and many early owners of this gaming machine are making a fortune of their units.
