Microsoft Xbox 360: 2-3 months before supplies normalize

Software giants Microsoft has reportedly said that it would take them another 2-3 months to smoothen the supplies of their next generation gaming console Xbox 360. The company launched the gaming machine with much fanfare last year and it was a smashing success in the North American market. However, lack of supplies meant that the company could not meet the growing demand in the market and hence suffered low sales.

Apparently, the supplies still cannot match the demand from the market in the American and European region as the company recently had to lower their sales expectations for the first 90 days after launch. The latest information from the company says that by April, the supplies would be very smooth and consumers would be able to order Xbox 360 consoles off the shelves without any struggle.

Rumors in the media suggested that the supplies of the Xbox 360 gaming console have apparently suffered from shortage of components from a certain supplier. However, Microsoft has denied that any single party is responsible for all the delays. The gaming console has close to 1,700 types of components inside it and it would of course be complicated to ensure continues supplies of all the parts.
