Xbox 360 launch in Australia delayed
Software giants Microsoft has revealed that they are delaying the launch of their next generation gaming console Xbox 360 in the Australian market. The launch would now take place on March 23. The announcement was revealed on the Xbox 360 website by the company.
The delay in the launch is due to the massive demand for this gaming console in markets where the company has already launched it. Microsoft is struggling to meet the demand in North American and the European markets where the console has seen a blockbuster launch.
The company also recently conceded that it would taken them at least 2-3 months before they can ensure continues supplies of consoles in all the markets around the world. Xbox 360 would be priced at $499.95 for a “core” system or $649.95 for the fully loaded version, which comes with additional goodies like wireless capabilities, high-definition access, and backward compatibility to current Xbox games.
Microsoft also claims that as many as 200 gaming titles are already in development stage for this console and at least 30 would be available by the time, Xbox 360 arrives in the Australian market.
