Microsoft to launch Ninety-Nine Nights in Japan in April

One of the most highly anticipated video gaming title for the Xbox 360 gaming machine is due to appear in the Japanese market only in April this year. Software giant Microsoft launched their next generation gaming console in this competitive market a couple of weeks ago but failed to generate much excitement.

The company has confirmed that the Ninety-Nine Nights game would make an appearance in the retail stores in the country from April 20 in Japan for 6,800 yen ($58). They are expecting that this game would help them lure more gamers in the country to buy the gaming console, which is pretty important for Microsoft in the home market of both Sony and Nintendo.

Microsoft has the early bird advantage of coming out with their console before either Sony or Nintendo could and they have to make the best out of this period. Both Sony and Nintendo are scheduled to release their Playstation 3 and Revolution gaming console sometime during this year itself.

This upcoming game “Ninety-Nine Nights” is being developed by Japanese game designer Tetsuya Mizuguchi’s Q Entertainment in partnership with South Korean developer Phantagram. The company specifically hired this group to develop this game for their customers in the Japanese market.
