Sony PlayStation 3 at Taipei Game Show

Electronic giants Sony have revealed that they would be showcasing their upcoming gaming console Sony Playstation 3 at the upcoming Taipei Game Show 2006. And as per media reports, they would be utilizing a quarter of their booth to display the PS3.

Sony’s upcoming gaming console is one of the most anticipated electronic devices this year. Their rivals, Microsoft has already launched their own next generation gaming console Xbox 360 and are doing well in the American and European markets.

The company had originally showcased this console at last year’s Electronics Entertainment Expo. They also displayed trailers of under development games, which awed the visitors of that gaming event. However, the company disappointed the visitors at the Tokyo Game Show 2005 with nothing exceptional on display.

Looks like the company would want to make amends at the upcoming Taipei Game Show.
