Microsoft to increase focus on Videogaming on PCs
Software giants and the makers of the hugely popular Xbox series of gaming consoles, Microsoft has said that the company plans to increase their focus on the development of video gaming content for the personal computers.
Microsoft’s games boss Peter Moore has pledged that the company would do more to promote and support PC gaming in the coming months and years. He also kind of apologized for the excessive focus; the company has shown in the favor of their Xbox platform of gaming machines.
Moore accepted that the company was partially responsible for the falling sales of videogames in the personal computer market. They are hoping big things from the upcoming Windows Vista operating system and have already announced that the Halo 2 for PC would be an exclusive for the Vista platform.
Moore claimed that Games would be a key element of the Vista OS, in the same way that images, videos, and music have gradually been integrated into the system.
