GTA creators Rockstar Games announces Ping Pong game for Xbox 360

This is perhaps the last thing you would expect Rockstar Games to develop. The company has revolutionized video gaming with their Grand Theft Auto series of videogames. Rockstar Games has now announced that their next big title is a game based on simple and sweet game of Ping Pong (Table Tennis)!

The company said in a statement that their first Xbox 360 release would be Rockstar Games Presents Table Tennis. Rockstar Games’ Houser said in a statement on this new release: “We absolutely love table tennis and wanted to try and make something that could show the audience what could be possible — on a relatively focused level — in the next generation of video games.”

He further added: “We wanted to create a sports game with the intensity of a fighting game and the sense of speed and control that would make playing it a more intense and more visceral experience than has previously been possible with sports games.”

Rockstar Games Table Tennis would be available this coming May for the Microsoft Xbox 360 gaming console and would be priced at a modest $39.99. Awesome!
