Final Fantasy 12 is finally out
The latest edition of the Final Fantasy series, Final Fantasy 12 is finally out. The game series has been enormously successful around the world and the latest edition has finally hit the retail stores in Japan.
Square Enix is the producer of this massively successful videogame series and have already sold more than 65 million copies around the world. The company has reportedly shipped as many as 2 million copies of the latest Final Fantasy game for the Sony Playstation 2 gaming console.
Square Enix President Yoichi Wada said about this latest version: “This is a pretty meaty game. I think this will become a work that symbolizes PS2.” He was speaking at the special event to mark the launch in Tokyo’s Shibuya-ku.
The music for this game has been produced by Angela Aki and Taro Hakase. The game is basically a role-playing game set in a world called Ivalice and focusing on characters such as a young man called Vaan and an exiled queen called Ashe. This game was originally planned for launch in 2003 but was massively delayed.
