Microsoft enhances shipments of Xbox 360
Microsoft might have faltered yet again with their Vista operating system which is now expected to make an entry into the consumer market by January next year, but they are going great with their Xbox 360 gaming console.
With Sony announcing more delays for their next generation gaming console the Sony Playstation 3, Microsoft is turning on their offence as they are soon going to massively increase the shipments of their Xbox 360 gaming console in the retail market.
This would take care of any shortage of units in the market, which is resulting in slowing down sales of videogames. Microsoft announced that the supply of components is in full production and the third contract manufacturer Celestica is now making consoles along with Wistron and Flextronics International.
This would further help the company regain the trust of those gamers who were waiting for PS3 to appear this year before making a decision to purchase one of these two consoles for their homes.
